Brunch with Bridget Episode 12/ HAPPY EASTER!

I'm off to shoot a horror film this morning (in honor of Jesus moving the rock and escaping to freedom) I hope you're all searching for easter eggs and laying around in your bonnets. I AM BIG FOOT
Last night I was washing dishes at 1AM and I heard a knock on my front door. I looked thru the peep hole and saw a 70 year old lady in curlers and a bath robe (my kind of lady). I opened the door and she immediately went into a monologue about how my loud walking kept her up "almost every other night!" (I thought that was random that she said "every-other" rather than "every" night but whatever)
She was so worked up that it made me start to laugh. She said "what's so funny BIG FOOT?!" I realized I was being a jackass and said "Nothing. I'm so sorry I'll try to be more quiet."
She gave me a dirty look and walked away. When I closed the door I realized she called me BIG FOOT!
Apparently my loud tree truck legs carry more sound than I realized. So if anyone is still looking for BIG FOOT just send them my way.
p.s. I really shouldn't have laughed in front of her- it's rude to laugh at people who are so close to death.

UNFAITHFUL
I'm 6 years late in seeing the Academy Award nomination film UNFAITHFUL starring Diane Lane. Last night I finally sat down and put it in (that's what she said) and was pleasantly surprised with how TERRIBLE it was.
*If you haven't seen the film and you want to (for some dumb reason) than don't read any more of this blog.
Here are just some of my many critical thoughts:
#1 Painfully obvious writing and acting (except for #3)
#2 Richard Gere was as interesting as watching paint dry
#3 DEATH BY SNOWGLOBE!!! WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?!
Wait -seriously when people raved about this film I didn't hear anything about a snowglobe murder- that was insane and completely shocking! Who thinks of shit like that? well I guess screenwriters Alvin Sargent and William Broyles Jr. who adapted the film from Claude Chabrol's "La Femme infidèle- I think something was lost in translation.
You have to be a pretty big douche to be killed by a snowglobe- that's queerer than I am.
I wonder if snowglobe sales suffered in 2002 with the release of this film.
In closing- WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?
p.s. I need to start my collection of snowglobes IMMEDIATELY!

I want to be homeless
Ok I really don't want to be homeless but today I was making copies of keys in West Hollywood and a homeless man walked by jamming to his IPOD. HIS IPOD! I don't even have an IPOD.
I shouldn't be jealous of a homeless person but I was - what's wrong with me?

It's Official!
It's is official I am the LUCKIEST woman in the WORLD! Andrea Meyerson from All Out Films is hosting the first ever Cambria Women's Weekend from October 23-26. That alone is awesome and I can't wait to attend. But...it gets better... Andrea asked me to perform and open for VICKI SHAW!!! I'm losing my mind over this. Vicki is a huge inspiration for me- I love her and feel blessed to be in the same room with her let alone get to touch the same microphone that she will be touching. I'm sure I'll cry when I see her so come out in October ladies and laugh and cry with me.

KATHARINE HEPBURN KEEPS ME UP AT NIGHT
Let me preface this blog by saying I haven't slept in 2 whole days. I have been in Reno/Tahoe shooting something for Afterellen with Karman my partner in crime. Last night Karman and I stayed at speciality woman's lodge that had private cabins. We were housed in the Kate Hepburn Cabin complete with portraits, books and movies of the famous actress.
At midnight I finally laid my head on my pillow when I felt a presence in my bedroom. I shook it off and fell asleep. In less than 1 hour I had 5 nightmares where I was being suffocated by ghostly spirits telling me to leave the cabin. Finally I woke myself up screaming, I'm not sure what was real and what wasn't but Karman and I hightailed it out of there at 12:45am and drive back to Reno and have been chilling in the airport ever since. Luckily the Reno airport offers free WIFI (hence this blog)
I just want to send a message out to the ghostly Ms. Hepburn who apparently is rolling over in her grave and haunting a cabin in Tahoe.

The show will be taped in Los Angeles on March 29, it will air on Logo and be released on dvd. Come out and watch it live if you can. There are only 144 seats in the theater so if you want to go than you need to purchase tickets ASAP.
