DANCE YOUR ASS OFF

I'm watching Oxygen's new show DANCE YOUR ASS OFF. The premise of the show is overweight contestants loss weight while dancing their asses off. Not literally, all asses stay in tact.

At the end of tonight's show two contestants started to cry and I said out-loud, "I love when people cry." What's wrong with me?

-Maybe I'm happy these people are having an emotional experience that just happens to be captioned on television.

-Or maybe I'm happy that I'n not the only one who cries.

-Or maybe it's funny to watch people suffer.

I really hope it's not the latter because that means I'm an asshole.

p.s. I'm not an asshole...am I?

p.p.s. Don't answer the above question.

Mr. Bumble, in "Oliver Twist", says that crying "opens the lungs, washes the countenance, exercises the eyes, and softens down the temper. So cry away."

Ergo:You are not an asshole. You simply wish all of the above for other people. Especially when they dance their ass off :)
