Keith Olbermann is my HERO!

I'm a HUGE fan of MSNBC and I regularly watch the lovely Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann. They offer so much information and barrels of laughs (more Olbermann than Maddow)

But tonight the O'Reilly-hating Olbermann made me cry. His elequint words on Proposition 8 gives me hope for our future.

Please take 7 minutes and watch this video in entirerty:

A straight white man is my hero too! What a passionate, eloquent commentary.

I sat at my desk watching this, tears rolling down my face, goosebumps on my arms... and for those 6min and 29sec I had hope.. hope that maybe one by one gay, straight, black, white, whichever religious sect you belong to will all stand together and not question love...

That we will all look at each other as equals. I applaud Keith Olbermann.. for his passionate words.

Have got to say, having reached this blog via a series of random links im very glad i did. That video is the most moving thing i have seen a while (and possibly reduced me to tears in the least time...).

In contrast to the masses of 'yes prop 8' propaganda flying around this is a breath of fresh air. This is what we need! People who are willing to stand up and support equality in an eloquent manner without screaming and shouting.

Hey Bridget, I just wanted to say that I just picked up my copy of Curve magazine Nov. 2008 issue with you and the two other female comedians on the cover. I wasn't able to get it until today. It looks cool. Can't wait to read it!
