I'm thankful for...

There is a somberness in the air due to the recession and current state of the country. I have allowed the sadness to overwhelm me and I desperately need to change my mindset.

Therefore, I'm listing the top 5 things that I'm thankful for. Feel free to post your "thankful list" too and hopefully we'll all feel a little better.

#1. My wife & family
#2. My wonderful friends and coworkers
#3. My cat.
#4. My health.
#5. That Santa Claus is REAL.

I'm Thinkful for...

1. My family and friends
2. The CRV I bought myself
3. The Wii I'm getting for christmas
4. Everyone from afterellen for making me feel a little less alone

and I'll be really thankful when the new YCTTA gets posted eventually

Also I just wanted to say I hope you find some cheer. The world is an ugly place but counting our blessings and reminding ourselves of the good that is still out there can be a powerful healer. Good things find good people. I'm a catholic the believes in karma and i see joy and happiness coming your way.

I'm thankful for.....

1. Your mom

JUST KIDDING. Well, sort of? Without your mom, there would be no you!

I am thankful for realz this time..

My beautiful twin sister and her courage to keep trucking on when she doesn't feel like she can keep trucking,
My wonderful friends who are always there for me no matter how many times I move away and come back,
Having a roof over my head and a warm bed to sleep in at night.

There are lots of other things... but I think those are the most important ones.

Keep your head up, Bridget. Snuggle with your honey and your cat and remember that even in this recession, there are lots of people doing the same thing. SNUGGLES.

I no longer have Winston. I haven't had him since the summer. That's why he's not on my show and I don't mention him anymore. No one is sadder about that than I am.

But I now have my wife's diva cat in my life. I am not a "cat" person but I'm dealing with it... :)

Bridget,

I heard a story about a little boy whose dog died (medical reasons). The vet & the boys mother were shocked because the boy was handling the situation very well. The boy explained to them: "The reason we are all here is to learn how to be nice to people & love & respect them. Well, dogs already know how to do that so they don't have to stay around as long".

Animals in my opinion are the most brilliant creatures god ever created! I'm sorry to hear about Winston, Bridget. I'm not a cat person either. Wait, I take that back - I'm not a DIVA CAT person! There are cats, then there are DIVA CATS! Winston - love that name, adorable!
