You'd have to be a MONSTER!

There is a little black scrawny homeless kitty that wanders through my neighborhood. A few weeks ago I put a dog bed and bowls of food and water for the little feline loner in front of my parking space. Every night I find the food gone, the kitty sleeping in the bed and warmth in my heart. Tonight, I got into my car I noticed the dog bed and bowls were missing. I looked around and all my other possessions and my neighbor's possessions were still in tact. I circled the parking lot looking for the bed and then opened the dumpster to find all my items right on top of the trash. Apparently, some heartless asshole fucktard MONSTER in my apartment building threw away my property to get rid of the homeless cat. I'm a LIBRA and I take issue with injustice so I climbed into the dumpster (which was a terrible idea) and I retrieved all of my belongs and returned them to where they were. But this time I hung a sign that read "DON'T TOUCH MY SHIT!" I wanted to set up a camera or sleep in my car to catch the kitty-hating MONSTER but my wife was against it. If you have pets hug them tightly and be glad they aren't on the streets.

I'm torn between being scared of the picture or finding it cute.
Also, if people gave a shit about animals, then there wouldn't have to be strays or shelters.

okay, while i totally agree that no one should ever touch other people's stuff, i can understand why the person wouldn't want you feeding strays. Strays usually have diseases, and by feeding them, often more strays will come to your place knowing that there will be food/water for them. So, whoever touched yourself was probably trying to prevent that... but they did it in a really bad way. what they should have done was talk to you about removing it, and if you didn't want to, they'd have to suck it up. But really, bridget, it's a bad idea to feed strays, taking one in and getting it cleared by a vet is a great idea though!

My cat was a stray on the streets. To think back on how she became mine and I became hers, it is hard to believe how all the events came to be.

She greeted me on the day I was moving into a flat with a new roommate and two weeks later, she came to the door...got fed, rubbed against all the furniture, and then settled down at the foot of a bed.

In spite of doing the right thing and putting out FOUND flyers and ads in the newspaper...she has been with me ever since.

Strays who come into your life and pick you make the best pets...though my kitty is way more than a pet.

I've kinda been looking for stray cats everywhere. My cat that I had for 7 years died 4 months ago. And I'm trying to find someway to show affection (apparently I do have that) towards little cuddly things. And so any animal that looks sad on the street, I will try to feed and hold.

I don't know how someone could not!

Hey Bridget. Oh what a cute kitten pic. Oh man that really, really pisses me off so badly you don't even know!!!!! I cannot stand people and want to hurt the people so very badly that I could watch them be in tortured excrutiating pain that I would be inflicting on them that want to hurt animals. I love animals also. I love them so much. It kills me when I hear something about animal cruelty, whether it's a person, a group of people hurting an animal in some horrible way, or leaving it outside in the cold, cold freezing weather. Oh man my Italian temper, I get so beyond frigging mad. I hate that. Boy there are some really cruel, mean people in the world. Take care.

That was just wrong...how do they know if "your" cat is a stray or just an outdoor cat???

Way da go with the sign Bridget - I'm with you. I would've slept in my car too, find the $%&#* and give them a piece of my mind. Well....looks like your wife's cat came into your life for reasons still developing....I just hope the kitty's still alive..meaning I hope the $%^*& didn't run over it w/their car & tossed everything in the trash to get rid of any evidence..

That's so obnoxious...that they messed with your stuff. You may want to consider trying to trap the cat and taking it into a vet, even if just to get it spayed/neutered before you let it go again. Or, bring it to a shelter so someone can adopt it. Poor baby. At least it's not too cold in LA!
