The Haunting in Connecticut.

Whilst watching RuPaul's Drag Race
on Logo, I saw commercial for the upcoming horror filmThe Haunting in Connecticut.

Or should I say, I saw 1/2 of the commercial of The Haunting in Connecticut before I got freaked out and changed the channel.

Then I grew a pair and looked up the film's plot on IMDB:

"Based on a chilling true story, Lionsgate's The Haunting in Connecticut charts one family's terrifying, real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. After the family is forced to relocate for their son's health, they begin experiencing supernatural behavior in their new home, which turns out to be a former mortuary."

Based on a TRUE story? ummm... No thanks! I go to the movies to enjoy the happy world of make believe.

And why did the haunting have to happen in my home state of Connecticut? Connecticut is such a pretty green state. I wonder what other kind of secrets Connecticut is keeping from me. Jeez you think you know a state! OMG, do you think Connecticut is MARRIED?

p.s. I hate horror films!

p.p.s. Don't tell Stacie Ponder about my above "p.s." statement!

Um...I'm standing right here reading your P.S.

Yes, you hate them, but sometimes you watch them with me, which is why you are the knees.

I'll get you to watch The Descent one of these days, I swear...

Ha! Stacie, that's good.

That poster looks creepy. I also am not a fan of stuff based on true stories...it definitely makes it too real...or even when it pretends to be based on a true story....Blair Witch...way scary

omg, bridget, the poster itself just freaked me out!

I would be lying if I said I don't want to see this movie. Even if I did go to watch it I'd probably leave half way through. I'm a little bitch like that.

Still, it's a little more interesting knowing that it's based on a true story!

Hey...just wondering, but if you got married in California but the residents there got stupid and undid your marriage recognition there in California, would you still be recognized as married in Connecticut? Or Massachusetts? Or if not, are you going to go get married in your home state just to make sure you're still legally married somewhere that counts?

Okay Bridget - I'm a fan of the show "Ghost Hunters" but the Haunting??? YIIIIIKKKKEES!!!!! I'd probably watch it in the MORNING with the window blinds wide open - less creepy that way!
