Searching for the Homeless

Tonight I ordered too much pizza at dinner (too much pizza is like a unicorn but since I'm heading out of town I didn't want leftovers in my fridge). As a "foodie" wasting food is NOT an option so I wondered Hollywood Blvd on foot looking for a hungry homeless person. I had to circle around a few times until I found an elderly man sleeping on a bench next to Burger King (when I ate meat I always preferred BK to McDonalds).

The man woke up when I got close to him, apparently the homeless have Spidey sense. He took the pizza and as I walked away I started to cry. I always cry when I see homeless people. It just doesn't make sense that some people in this world have so much and some have so little.

So remember hug your loved ones, always be charitable and order lots of pizza- pizza always makes everything better.

WANTED

Hello my favorite myspace peeps. This Friday, June 27, is the release of WANTED, starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy. I went to the LA premiere last week and though I had seen pieces of the movie while it was being edited I hadn't seen the finalized film until that night. The film is bloody at times so get ready to close your eyes (especially in the scene when James gets tied to a chair) :-)

My itty bitty part as James' grocery store check out girl got cut, which I'm fine with. So in the finalized movie there is 1 long shot of me scanning peanut butter in a montage towards the end of the film (mmm...I love peanut butter) and then a shot of the back of my head (damn my hair looks good on film). Hopefully no one is going the film to see me (not that they would) because if they blink they will miss my big film debut.

Working for 2 1/2 years from start to finish on this film was exhilarating. All the cast and crew were spectacular.

It was bittersweet when the credits rolled in the theater and it was finally all over. For those of you that go and see the film I hope you enjoy it, I know I did.

Where's the Feet?

"Where's the Feet?" In the subject line I'm referencing the 1980's commercial "Where's the Meat?" Get it?

Anyway on CNN.COM today there was a story about a severed foot found in Canada located on the shore of the Westham Island south of Vancouver. Strange, right? Except this isn't the only severed foot that has been found- this is the 5th foot! (4 right feet and 1 left foot.)

The police are trying to find out who the feet belong to. My guess is they belong to a group of feetless people. I'm in a detective training program.

Here's the article:

A Little Redundant

I was shopping in Santa Monica this weekend and passed an amazingly redundant window advertisement.

Do you see what I'm talking about?

Give Leo an Award!

WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE was on television today- it's a great film if you haven't seen it. After I watched it, I remembered how years ago when I was watching the Academy Awards I saw Leo Dicaprio in the audience and he looked amazing! He looked really really healthy, much healthier than he looked in the film, like no food on his mouth or snot in his nose.

And I actually said out loud, "Wow they nominated the little mentally handicapped boy" (ok let's be honest I probably said "retard" but I fear your judgement).

At the time I didn't realize it was THE Leo, the amazing actor from GROWING PAINS and that he was NOT really mentally retarded...I mean handicapped. I just wanted to say kudos Leo, well done.

I feel a little challenged myself right now.

p.s. don't get mad at me for being UN-PC! It's not my fault- no one told me back then that he wasn't really retarded. :)

p.s.s. I'm donating all proceeds from this blog to the LEO REALLY ACTS LIKE A RETARD FUND.

p.s.s.s. Even I hate myself right now for writing this.

I squeezed a man's balls for breakfast

This weekend I went out to breakfast with my "lady friend" in Beverly Hills. While dining I started telling a dramatic story and flailing my arms (I'm a flailer). I reached my double jointed arm backwards and clawed at the air like a velociraptor - except it wasn't the air it was a man's balls. An innocent man was making his way back to his table from the restroom and his balls walked right into my grabbing hands. We both freaked out and he scurried back to his table.

Days later I'm still shocked and concerned that my right hand is now bisexual. Either way I will accept my right hand with open arms.

p.s. THANK GOD I'M A LEFTY!!!

dude, where's my car?

I spent yesterday on the SONY lot recording voices for the upcoming Tim Burton produced animated feature 9 starring Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly and Martin Landau. I adore Martin Landau and he wouldn't let my hand go as he insisted that I become as successful as possible, but he advised me it would be difficult like it was for his friend Phyllis Diller.

Anyway, at the end of the day I went to the parking structure to head home and I could find my car. No seriously for over and hour I walked up and down 6 levels, left the parking structure to search another parking structure, returned to the original parking structure with no success.

I eventually went down to security and had a guy in a golf cart give me a tour of all the parking structures on the lot in search of my jeep. I must say Sony has very well kept parking structures.

In the end my car was found and I felt like a douchebag. Just another day at the office.

Enterprise Rental Car

I haven't really written a blog in days so here's my effort...ummm...let's think...what's new with me?

Well since my new tattoo I'm not allowed to scratch my side or else it will fuck up the body art so I have to pat at it instead.

Today I was at Enterprise Rental car and I started to pat at my side, first calmly then violently since the itch wasn't subsiding. Not realizing that I looked like a person with 1 arm applauding at a Stones concert I started a conversation with the man behind the counter still inexplicable hitting myself.

The man was very professional. He processed my paperwork, reviewed my rental car, checked the mileage and then asked me if there was a reason I was hitting myself.

Realizing that I had been abusing myself for 10 minutes I immediately stopped and responded, "I enjoy pain, don't you?"

I thought it was funny, he didn't....
